Patrick founded Highlands Bespoke Projects after thirty years in the construction industry—twenty of those as a senior site manager on complex commercial, hospitality, and residential projects.
HBP exists because the projects he was most drawn to—adaptive reuse, agri-tourism, and integrated hospitality—needed a different kind of leadership than traditional project management offered. The principals on those projects weren't looking for a contractor's representative or a documentation manager. They were looking for someone who could hold the vision of the project alongside them, through every meeting and every decision, until completion.

Patrick's career spans the breadth of the construction industry—from carpentry on his first sites through site management on multi-storey commercial and hospitality projects to project leadership on integrated developments at precinct scale.
That experience matters because complex projects don't fail in the documents. They fail in the gaps between disciplines, in the moments where a decision has to be made and nobody is positioned to make it well. HBP's work is to make sure those decisions get made — informed by the principal's vision, grounded in real construction experience, and made before they become problems.
